on baltimore for the top american league wild card spot. that's despite losing to the orioles last night 9-5. their series started friday night right here at the coliseum in fronting of a sellout crowd of about 35,000, which is unusual for the a's, who are often overlooked, but not anymore. fans we talked to this morning say they're pleasantly surprised by their record and even more surprised by the ticket prices. >> wow, that is good. yeah, that's great. in this day and age, yeah, that's tremendous. >> reporter: now fans also say having a winning season like this is good for oakland team spirit and it's more reason for the a's to stay an not move to san jose. that decision is still needing to be made by mlb commissioner bud selig, who may decide by the end of the year. the a's are off today but then it's 16 straight days to the regular season finish line. if they keep up the wins, wild card playoff games begin october 5th and those playoff tickets for the a's go on sale starting today at 10:00. you can find those yop line or right here at the box office at the oakland coliseum. and yes, t
